Following the sad news that Sir Terry Pratchett had died, AHSUCLan hosted a humanist send off for the author and campaigner at UCLan last month called: "A Tribute to Sir Terry Pratchett." We started to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK, a cause that Sir Terry was passionate about, and for those who knew him, a condition that we long knew he suffered from. AHSUCLan have therefore decided to extend our charitable efforts throughout Skeptics Week in order to honour the memory and works of Sir Terry, and hopefully raise a substantial amount of money to be presented to Alzheimer's Research UK in order to help other people suffering from Dementia.
